Phillip C. Ginsberg
, D.O., J.D.
Dr. Ginsberg received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served residencies in general surgery and urology from Albert Einstein Medical Center. He had additional training in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and in pediatric urology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Education and Background
Dr. Ginsberg received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served residencies in general surgery and urology from Albert Einstein Medical Center. He had additional training in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and in pediatric urology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Ginsberg is currently clinical professor of urology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He actively participates in the education of medical students from PCOM and Jefferson Medical College. He has served as the president of the medical staff at AEMC, having chaired the institution-wide quality performance committee for five years prior. He is the past president of the National Osteopathic Urology Discipline.
Dr. Ginsberg graduated from the Temple University School of Law in 1995 and is a licensed Pennsylvania attorney, practicing part time in healthcare law. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Healthcare Law section of the ABA. He is a fellow in the American College of Legal Medicine.
Dr. Ginsberg enjoys tennis, skiing, sailing and golf but mostly enjoys the company of his wife Beth, their children, and grandchildren.

Dr. Ginsberg is past chairman of the Department of Urology, at AEMC and past director of the urology residency program there. He is a member of the Residency Review Committee for ACOS. Dr. Ginsberg is board certified in urology by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery and a member of:
