MidLantic Radiation Oncology Centers

Our three state-of-the-art MidLantic Radiation Oncology Centers are staffed by some of the region’s top oncologists who understand the unique challenges of cancer patients. We’re dedicated to meeting your complete needs in a setting that is as comfortable as possible. Each center is accredited by the American College of Radiology and serves residents of Philadelphia and its surrounding counties. We work in association with Advanced Radiation Centers under the direction of Shawn Zimberg, MD.

For the best outcomes and fewest side effects, we use precise, advanced technologies, including:

• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy
• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy
• RapidArc™ Volumetric Arc Therapy

Before you arrive, you’ll work with a certified nurse navigator who will help you understand and better cope with the many challenges that can come with cancer. Your nurse navigator will work alongside you to coordinate your care and ensure you are prepared for every step, from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.

Your treatment will be directed by radiation oncologists. Your care team will also include the following:

• Dosimetrist – they calculate and distribute the proper dose of radiation
• Information technologist
• Nurses
• On-site physicist – works with equipment to deliver the appropriate amount of radiation
• Radiation therapists
• Technicians

Each will strive to instill in you a positive state of mind at every visit.
