Teodora “Tia” Ann Schellato, D.O., FACOS

Education and Background

Dr. Schellato graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She completed her general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and her urologic surgery residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Albert Einstein Medical Center, and Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia. She was chief resident in urological surgery during that time.

Dr. Schellato’s urologic interests include comprehensive female health, female urology, sexual health, voiding dysfunction and urodynamics. She provides care for all types of urologic problems, from the simple to the most complex.

Dr. Schellato has been named a Suburban Life Top Doctor for three years. She was named Professor of the Year at Albert Einstein Medical Center in 2011-2012 and was a recipient of the City Avenue Physicians Award in 2008-2009 which is presented to residents who demonstrate a strong dedication to teaching and serving the Philadelphia area.

She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Urological Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
